Who We Are

We are proud members of Rotary District 6200, serving communities across South Louisiana with the shared mission of creating lasting, positive change. Our club brings together local leaders, professionals, and volunteers who believe in “Service Above Self”—Rotary’s guiding motto since 1911.

Part of a global network of over 1.4 million members, our club works both locally and internationally to support education, fight disease, provide clean water, promote peace, and empower the next generation of leaders.

“Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.”

— Rotary International Vision Statement

Rotary International vs. The Rotary Foundation

Rotary International (RI) is the global association that connects 46,000+ clubs around the world. It provides leadership, structure, and coordination for global service initiatives, member programs, and international events such as the Rotary International Convention.

The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is Rotary’s charitable arm. Established in 1917, it transforms donations into life-changing service projects through global and district grants. The Foundation supports initiatives like polio eradication, peace fellowships, clean water access, education, and disaster relief.

Together, RI and TRF form the backbone of Rotary’s ability to make sustainable, high-impact change—locally and globally.

Rotary offers multiple ways to get involved:

  • Rotary Clubs: The traditional model for professionals and community leaders 18+.

  • Rotaract Clubs: Tailored for university students and young professionals who want to lead and serve.

  • Interact Clubs: For youth ages 12–18, encouraging early leadership and service.

  • Honorary Members: Individuals recognized for their exceptional service aligned with Rotary values.
